Youth
Computer Training Program
We
would like to ask you to encourage any student who has
an interest in 21st century technology to
register for the Youth Computer Training Program (YCTP)
which is sponsored by the Black Data Processing Associates,
Twin Cities Minnesota Chapter (BDPA). One of our primary
goals is to prepare students of color to participate
fully in careers in information technology fields.
BDPA is a
nationwide non-profit professional organization dedicated
to strengthening the expertise of its members in the
Information Technology industry. Our target audience
is geared towards minorities. However, we offer our
expertise to any individual evaluating information systems
for future career or business potential. In addition,
BDPA's goal is to broaden the information systems knowledge
of the community as a whole. The YCTP offers classes
in computer basics, and intermediate programming for
students in grades 8 through 12.
