Fredrick Blocton
President, BDPA Twin Cities
President, UpNet Client Solution GroupFredrick Blocton serves as President of BDPA Twin Cities, where he provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the chapter’s programs, partnerships, and organizational growth. In this role, he helps ensure BDPA Twin Cities delivers high-impact technology education and workforce development experiences aligned with industry needs.
Professionally, Fredrick is President of UpNet Client Solution Group, where he leads client-focused technology solutions and advises organizations on strategy, delivery, and operational alignment. His background spans technology leadership, client engagement, and business development, bringing a strong private-sector perspective to BDPA’s mission.
Fredrick’s leadership reflects a commitment to building pathways into technology careers and strengthening connections between industry and the next generation of talent.
Joseph Richburg
President, BDPA Twin Cities Foundation
Joseph Richburg leads the BDPA Twin Cities Foundation with a focus on financial sustainability, fundraising, and long-term organizational growth. In this role, he supports the Foundation’s mission by strengthening governance, advancing strategic initiatives, and helping secure resources that expand access to technology education and workforce development opportunities.
Professionally, Joseph is the founder and president of Keystone Technical Services, a Minnesota-based computer and network security company he co-founded in 2005. Through his work, he has supported organizations and communities with trusted technology solutions, emphasizing security, reliability, and long-term impact.
Joseph brings an entrepreneurial perspective and deep commitment to community-focused technology advancement to his leadership with BDPA Twin Cities.
Aaron Young
Information Technology Specialist Lead, Minnesota IT Services
Aaron Young is an Information Technology Specialist Lead with Minnesota IT Services, bringing more than 28 years of experience across information technology, cybersecurity, and public-sector systems. His work focuses on strengthening secure, reliable, and resilient technology services that support state government operations.
Aaron has deep expertise in NIST-based information security controls, risk management frameworks, and IT service delivery. His professional background spans cybersecurity, project management, Lean Six Sigma process improvement, and IT service management. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Aaron is passionate about mentoring others, building high-performing teams, and using technology to solve complex problems that drive meaningful impact.
Michael Duren
Vice President, Federal Reserve Financial Services
Michael Duren is a Vice President at the Federal Reserve, where he leads multiple virtual teams responsible for managing incidents, crises, and resiliency risks impacting the nation’s financial services infrastructure. With more than 25 years of experience across the Federal Reserve System, he has served in a range of senior technical and leadership roles focused on business continuity, incident management, information security, and enterprise resiliency.
Michael is deeply committed to advancing technology education and access. He serves as a Board Member of BDPA Twin Cities, supporting the organization’s mission to prepare youth and young adults for careers in technology. A longtime Twin Cities resident, he holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, and has completed executive leadership programs through ITSMF, Carnegie Mellon University, and McKinsey & Company.
