Python Coding Classes for Kids & Teens | Grades 6–12

Applications are now being accepted for BDPA Twin Cities’ Fall 2026 Python Coding Classes for students in grades 6–12.
Beginning September 26, students will spend eight Saturdays at Saint Paul College learning Python and exploring information technology through hands-on instruction from technology professionals, software engineers, and experienced IT experts.
This isn’t a one-day workshop. Each Saturday builds on the last, giving students time to learn, practice, solve problems, create with technology, and discover what they’re capable of.
Learn From People Who Work in Technology
Students aren’t simply learning from a textbook. They’ll learn alongside professionals with real-world experience in technology, engineering, software development, and IT.
Along the way, students will strengthen their coding, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills while gaining exposure to educational and career possibilities in technology.

BDPA Twin Cities invests in the instructors, curriculum, technology, partnerships, and resources necessary to make this learning experience available to participating students. Families are not charged to participate, but accepted students are expected to commit to the full eight-week experience.
Applications Close September 15
Space for the Fall 2026 class is limited. Students must apply for consideration rather than simply register for a class.
If your student is interested in computers, video games, coding, technology—or is simply curious about how technology works—give them the opportunity to turn that curiosity into something they can build on.
